The last few days have been a whirlwind of activity. On Monday we received our Travel Approval (China's permision for us to enter the country), "gotcha day'" date and tentative consulate appointment. Tuesday our Consulate appointment was confirmed for 9/12. Next step was to frantically try to make travel arrangements and get things worked out at work.
Travel arrangements, insurance, packing and preparing work for my long absence was next. It has been a crazy non-stop week and a half but we're finally ready to go. Emily we are coming!

My eyes just welled up with tears when I read your words, "Emily we are coming!" Oh what a long rollercoaster ride you have been on ... filled with highs and lows and happiness and pain ... but the joy is just about to come flooding in your life like you can hardly believe. You are a Mom now ... it has been a long journey, but Emily your Mama and Daddy are coming! Go bring her home! I can't wait to read the travel chapter of your journey!!!!
